The tour will depart from the Polish Home, with boarding beginning at 7:30 a.m. and departure at 8 a.m., returning around 6:20 p.m. Guests will travel to historic Clarkson, Nebraska, to visit the Opera House for a community history presentation and folk dance performance, tour the Clarkson Historical Museum, and stop at the Clarkson Bakery for kolaches and other treats. The trip continues to Tarnov, Nebraska, for a traditional Polish buffet lunch, followed by visits to the heritage museum and historic St. Michael’s Catholic Church. The final stop will be at Glur’s Tavern in Columbus, Nebraska, the oldest continuously operating tavern west of the Missouri River.
